Hi, I’m Jonathan Hofmeyr — but everyone calls me Ziggy.

 

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a filmmaker. I cut my teeth in music videos before moving into bigger projects, directing feature films like Pop Lock n Roll (cinema release), Little Big Mouth (Netflix), and Christmas Without Gogo (Evod). I’ve also directed and produced for TV, including Come Dine With Me SA, Battle of the Year Nigeria and Gospel Superstars.

On the post-production side, I’ve worked as Post Production Director (Family Feud Africa), Head Editor (Snitch for M-Net), and edited countless corporate, promo, and training projects. I mainly work as a director or editor, but I also shoot when needed, with my own camera, grips and lighting gear always on standby.
